Welcome to your new and improved website for UniSA’s On The Record.
Established in 2010, we aim to deliver news and content to students, written by your student peers. We are an online publication run by UniSA’s journalism students, focusing on topics and issues that appeal to the student community.
Your new On The Record editorial team intends to bring a fresh perspective to the publication, to reflect and represent student views and opinions by bringing a voice to the student community.
Meet your editorial team:
Thomas Kelsall, Chief Editor
Third-year journalism & International Relations student with a prevailing sense of existential dread about the state of the world. Maintains a strong hatred for all things public relations and corporate marketing, while also providing a robust critique of modern media practices. Still desperately waiting for the Crows to win a flag…
Giorgina McKay, Deputy Editor
Fourth-year journalism and creative writing student Giorgina McKay is a caffeine addict with a keen interest in investigative journalism and international and local stories. Giorgina loves dessert and has strong opinions on whether Ross and Rachel were on a break.
Jesse Neill, Chief Of Staff
Jesse Neill is a fourth year Journalism and International Relations Student. Outside of study Jesse is a basketball fanatic, obsessed hip hop head and semi-mediocre guitar player, however, he hopes to pursue a career as a freelance feature writer in the near future.
Chrystianna Konidis, Social Media Editor
Chrystianna Konidis is an avid social media junkie in her fourth year of Journalism and International Relations. With a nose for all the latest celebrity scandals and crime documentaries, Chrystianna loves to share breaking news and current affairs online.
